Can I get textures with luxury vinyl flooring?

In a word, yes. Textures are trending hot this year. So whether you choose luxury vinyl tile or plank, you'll be able to get a wide variety of tactile finishes, thanks to embossing; this and micro beveling add to the realistic look for which luxury vinyl is so well known.

Wood-look textures
Wood and wood looks are very much sought after, and one popular version is a luxury vinyl plank. This form of luxury vinyl (LVF) is made by cutting the vinyl into strips and mounting them on boards to mimic hardwood.

With this version, also referred to as LVP, you can get a wire-brushed look, with ultra-fine "wire" scratches showing exposed wood. A hand-scraped texture has long cuts with high variation between the boards, making the floor distinctive and rare. The distressed texture makes the floor look aged and antiqued and will show scrapes, burns, and more. Weathered means the wood is old, giving the appearance of reclaimed wood, taken from old factories, barn doors, wine casts, etc.

Tile and stone textures
Often referred to as LVT, the square, tile-sized pieces can be used with or without grout. Our wood-look tiles have the beautiful raised grains of the real thing and come in assorted colors, including the high trending variation.

Our LVF styles include marble, slate, terrazzo, granite, quartz, travertine, and more, as well as colorful geometric, encaustic, chevron, herringbone, and block tile patterns, among others. In addition, they come in matte, satin, and high gloss finishes, all from well-known manufacturers like COREtec, Karastan LuxeCraft, Mannington, Pergo Extreme, and US Floors.
